Because Green Line Budget operates offline and stores data locally, you act as the primary controller of your personal financial data.

2. Data We Process & How It Is Used

A. Local Financial Data (Stored On-Device Only)

When you use Green Line Budget, you enter financial information such as budget categories, transaction amounts, dates, notes, and savings goals. All of this information is saved exclusively in a SQLite database directly on your mobile device.

• We do not collect, transmit, or store your financial transactions on external servers.
• We do not require account creation, email registration, or login.

B. Local Notifications

If you enable bill reminders, scheduled notifications are managed natively by your device's operating system (iOS or Android). No remote notification server is used.

C. In-App Purchases & Receipt Validation

If you purchase Green Line Budget Premium (a one-time lifetime access purchase):

• Payment processing is handled directly by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play Store). We do not collect or store your credit card or payment details.
• We use RevenueCat to validate purchase receipts and grant lifetime entitlements across device restores. RevenueCat processes anonymous store identifiers (such as an anonymous user ID or transaction receipt) solely to verify your purchase.

3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR Article 6)

We process data under the following legal bases under GDPR Article 6(1):

• Performance of a Contract (Art. 6(1)(b)): Local processing of your input data is necessary to provide the personal budgeting features you request.
• Legitimate Interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): Processing purchase tokens via RevenueCat is necessary to verify lifetime premium entitlements and prevent fraud.

4. Data Retention & Security

Your budgeting data remains stored on your local device for as long as the application remains installed. You can delete all local data at any time by uninstalling the application.

5. Third-Party Sub-processors

We do not use advertising networks, tracking pixels, or behavioral analytics SDKs. The only third-party service providers involved in operating the app are:

• Apple Inc. (App Store): Handles in-app purchase payments on iOS devices. (Apple Privacy Policy)
• Google LLC (Google Play): Handles in-app purchase payments on Android devices. (Google Privacy Policy)
• RevenueCat, Inc.: In-app purchase management and receipt verification. (RevenueCat Privacy Policy)

6. Your GDPR Rights

Under GDPR, EU residents have specific rights regarding their personal data:

• Right of Access & Rectification: You can view and edit all your data directly inside Green Line Budget at any time.
• Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): You can completely erase all your data instantly by clearing app storage or uninstalling the app.
• Right to Data Portability: You can export your full transaction history to a CSV file anytime using the built-in Export feature in Settings.

7. Children's Privacy

Green Line Budget does not knowingly collect or solicit personal data from children under the age of 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can take appropriate measures.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this document.
