Welcome to Green Line Budget. By downloading, accessing, or using our mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. Description of Service

Green Line Budget is an offline-first personal financial tracking and forecasting application. It provides personal budgeting tools, rollover metrics, savings goal trackers, and spending projection calculations for informational and personal productivity purposes.

2. Financial Disclaimer

Green Line Budget is not a bank, financial institution, financial planner, or certified financial advisor. The calculations, forecasts, and projections generated within the App are for estimation and organizational purposes only. You are solely responsible for managing your finances, and Green Line Budget assumes no responsibility for financial decisions made based on information presented in the App.

3. Local Data Storage & User Responsibility

Green Line Budget operates on a local-first model, meaning your personal budget data is stored locally on your device. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are responsible for protecting access to your physical device.
  • You are responsible for regularly exporting or backing up your budgeting data (e.g., using the built-in CSV export function).
  • We have no access to your local data and cannot recover lost data resulting from device loss, damage, software reset, or uninstallation.

4. In-App Purchases & Lifetime Access

Green Line Budget offers an optional Lifetime Premium entitlement available through a single, one-time in-app purchase.

  • No Subscriptions: Lifetime Premium is a non-recurring, one-time payment granting permanent access to Premium features.
  • Billing: All in-app purchase payments are processed directly by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play Store). Payment terms, taxes, and transaction handling are governed by the respective store's terms.
  • Refunds: Refund requests are managed exclusively by Apple or Google according to their official app store refund policies.
  • Restoring Purchases: You can restore your Lifetime Premium status on compatible devices anytime using the "Restore Purchases" button in the App.

5. Intellectual Property

All design elements, original code, logos, trademarks, and branding associated with Green Line Budget are the exclusive property of Green Line Budget and its licensors. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, modify, or redistribute the App or any of its software components.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law (including GDPR and local consumer protection laws), Green Line Budget and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data arising out of or related to your use of the App.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted with an updated "Effective Date". Continued use of the App following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
